On a table saw the wood is thrown back violently, on a radial arm saw the blade climbs quickly out of the cut and on a hand held saw the saw is pushed out of the cut. Freud's design reduces this. Each tooth is followed by a limiter, which restricts bite to the maximum safe amount. Teflon Coating. Resistant to friction and heat build-up. Teflon coated blades last longer, cleaning is easy and the distinctive coating also gives rust resistance.Whisper Quiet Expansion Slots: A question-mark shaped slot allows for the necessary expansion yet reduces noise.
