Kennedy® bench stones are manufactured from the man-made abrasive Aluminium Oxide which is extremely tough to enable high speed penetration of high tensile materials without causing excessive fracturing.

This resistance to fracturing makes it a versatile material suitable for sharpening chisels, general sharpening and honing applications.
