Scutch Bit Holders, Combs & Droves

Kennedy cold chisels are manufactured from high quality, high strength octagonal section chrome vanadium steel with ground cutting edges. They are are used to channel brickwork, concrete, chip stone and to remove waste metal when a very smooth finish is not required or when the work cannot be done easily with other tools, such as a hacksaw, file, bench shears or power tools. The head of each chisel is chamfered to slow down the formation of the mushroom shape caused by hammering. Conform to: BS3066.

Scutch Holders - Carbon Steel

Designed to hold a detachable stone dressing comb or drove. The tool is then used to dress stone and brickwork. It has also proved very effective when fitted with a scutch comb for cutting into bricks and blockwork to fit socket boxes. The size of the holder should be the same as the comb or drove being used.
