Kennedy Cold Chisels

Kennedy cold chisels are manufactured from high quality, high strength octagonal section chrome vanadium steel with ground cutting edges. They are are used to channel brickwork, concrete, chip stone and to remove waste metal when a very smooth finish is not required or when the work cannot be done easily with other tools, such as a hacksaw, file, bench shears or power tools. The head of each chisel is chamfered to slow down the formation of the mushroom shape caused by hammering. Conform to: BS3066.

Fluted Plugging/Seaming Chisel

For removing cement and mortar from between bricks and blockwork to either insert a wooden plug for nailing and screwing or to remove a brick for the placement of an air gate. The cutting edge is wider than the blade for clearance and the fluted blade speeds the removal of spoil.
