Edges taper towards point. For filing and sharpening saws. Points are left uncut. Instead of having a tang, both ends are tapered. They are used for sharpening saws having a 60 angle. The teeth are cut from each end towards the centre.

Available in seven shapes, Hand, Half Round, Three Square, Round, Square, Knife and Flat and two grain sizes, 120/140 and 325/400 offering the solution to finishing problems where material hardness makes conventional files ineffective.
