Manufactured to DIN 69880. Suitable for use in NC lathes with VDI fixing disc. Features: All tools are fully carburised and hardened. Surface hardness of 58 - 60HRC. Tensile strength above 1000N/mm2. Simultaneous movement of both slide-blocks on rough boring heads. Inner pre-load device between body and slide block on finish boring heads. Override device on adjusting screw in rough boring heads. Few boring head components. Simple adjusting and locking mechanism. Setting diameter with boring head mounted in machine tool using micrometer or caliper. After setting to the required diameter it prevents slide block from moving while tightening lock screw. Prevents adjusting screw from stripping threads; very easy and fast to adjust. Precision machined components. Made from chrome nickel alloy tool steel. Modular components - simple yet secure coupling system. Large adjusting ranges on rough and finish boring heads.
