After setting to the required diameter it prevents slide block from moving while tightening lock screw. Prevents adjusting screw from stripping threads; very easy and fast to adjust. Pinzbohr Micro Heads

Used in combination with indexable insert I.S.O. boring bars, these units can produce bores down to 5.5mm diameter and up to 34mm diameter. These MICRO heads fit the standard Pinzbohr arbors with connection diameters (SD') of 27, 32 or 42mm. Graduated precision dial readout to 0.01mm.

Note: If ground inserts used, please specify left hand for boring. Bores as small as 5.5mm diameter can be produced by using stepped bars.
