The shields have excellent optical quality, reliable light-to-dark switching and are available in a choice of 5 graphic designs. They can be used for most arc welding processes, such as stick (MMA), MIG/MAG and many TIG applications. The easy-to-use Speedglas 100 Shield is the ideal 'first' auto-darkening shield for hobby welders, farmers, DIY enthusiasts and maintenance or construction workers who weld infrequently but value high levels of comfort and excellent protection.

The 3M? Speedglas? Variable Shade Filter has 5 user-selectable dark shades, from shade 8 to shade 12, and a light shade of 3.
