Box Angle Surface Plates

Box angles are work holding fixtures for precision machining large work pieces on planer or boring mill operations. They can be used singly or in combination.Manufactured from close grained cast iron with a Grade 2 ground finish. Tee slots are machined from the solid block. Manufactured to BS 5535 Grade B

Webbed slotted angle plates can be used for rapid mounting fixtures for machine set-up, layout, or inspection.
They are heavily ribbed for strength and rigidity.
Sides and ends are machine finished.

Plain Surface Plates

Surface plates are used when a precision surface is key. These plates are manufactured from high quality of close grained cast iron and are stress relieved against distortion by heat treatment. Rigidity and long lasting accuracy are ensured by adequate top and side thickness and ribbed construction. The surfaces are free from pin holes, planed and hand scraped. Manufactured to BS 817.
