OSG WX-EMS short series 4 flute endmills are manufactured from high performance micro grain carbide with an Ultra WX coating (multi layered composite TiALN).

Guhring Slot Drills

Short rigid slot drills to suit all general-purpose profiling applications, including alloyed steels, stainless steels and non-ferrous materials. Centre cutting with a unique Fire coating that is applied in Guhring's own coating plants using the PVD process. This all-around performance coating can achieve two to three times the performance of TiN, and considerably better than TiALN. It has excellent heat resistance as well as high toughness, therefore it is well-suited for interrupted cutting.
