Canning-Lippert Satinise Finishing Compositions

A specifically formulated dressing to coat the mop prior to the application of satene. Assists in the performance and allows thicker coatings to be built up. Use where deburring, deflashing or stock removal is needed.

Primarily for polyester and nitro-cellulose lacquers. Good general-purpose composition for producing a high gloss on most plastics.

Canning-Lippert "B" Quality Mops WO 2899 - Stitched Type

All round mops as above with 3/8" (9.5mm) spiral stitching. Having all the attributes of the above mops but will not splay to the extent of the open type giving greater polishing pressure. Fitted with washers for taper spindle use. Can be used in conjunction with Lustre, Hyfin, Steelbrite, Scovax, and Satene compositions.

Designed specifically for use on plastics but is also suitable for gold and silver. Extremely soft cloth that is unsuitable for steel, stainless and non-ferrous metals. Open type construction for medium polishing pressure. For use with Vonax composition.

Canning-Lippert Preparation Mops

Stapol 100% sisal mops with cotton interleaving. Used for heavy duty mopping operations on steel and non-ferrous metals. Also used for removing grinding marks left from previous abrasive operations. Available untreated or in 3 grades of treated mops - simpol, orange and blue, all increasing in hardness and composition retention respectively. Orange and blue treatment available on request.

Canning-Lippert "B" Quality Mop - Open Type (Medium Hardness)

All round mops for finishing steel and pressed brassware, nickel-silver, copper, brass, silver, aluminium chrome and plastics. Also suitable for nickel and chrome deposits. Made up of guaranteed quality all-cotton cloth in multiple sections of 1/2" (13mm) width. Open type mops will splay under pressure to suit irregular surfaces and give a medium polishing pressure. Can be used in conjunction with Lustre, Hyfin, Steelbrite, Scovax, and Satene compositions.
