Indexa-Seiki VDI Toolholders

Manufactured to DIN 69880. Suitable for use in NC lathes with VDI fixing disc. Features: All tools are fully carburized and hardened. Surface hardness of 58-60HRc. Tensile strength above 1000N/mm2. Surfaces blued; seat, parallel shank and shoulder ground. Tools can be adjusted in-situ on radial and axial toolholders. Seat shim allows two tool sizes to be used with one toolholder. Ball regulator (bullseye) provides easy coolant control.

Simultaneous movement of both slide-blocks on rough boring heads. Inner pre-load device between body and slide block on finish boring heads. Override device on adjusting screw in rough boring heads. Few boring head components. Simple adjusting and locking mechanism. Setting diameter with boring head mounted in machine tool using micrometer or caliper. After setting to the required diameter it prevents slide block from moving while tightening lock screw. Prevents adjusting screw from stripping threads; very easy and fast to adjust. Precision machined components. Made from chrome nickel alloy tool steel. Modular components - simple yet secure coupling system. Large adjusting ranges on rough and finish boring heads. Tool Carriers

Tool carrier blocks offer a new, flexible method of storing CNC tooling. Individual tool pots simply clip into the carrier block. Specify the type of tooling and then add the required amount of storage pots to the carrier block. Tool carrier blocks may be used in conjunction with trolleys, cupboards or freestanding on a bench top. Supplied in yellow RAL1023 only.
Tool carrier block dimensions (W x D x H): 590 x 124 x 110mm.
Tool blocks can mount directly into 750mm wide drawers.
