Simultaneous movement of both slide-blocks on rough boring heads. Inner pre-load device between body and slide block on finish boring heads. Override device on adjusting screw in rough boring heads. Few boring head components. Simple adjusting and locking mechanism. Setting diameter with boring head mounted in machine tool using micrometer or caliper. After setting to the required diameter it prevents slide block from moving while tightening lock screw. Prevents adjusting screw from stripping threads; very easy and fast to adjust. Precision machined components. Made from chrome nickel alloy tool steel. Modular components - simple yet secure coupling system. Large adjusting ranges on rough and finish boring heads. Rough and finish boring heads for many insert styles. High accuracy and repeatability. Very rugged - excellent durability. Components remain securely locked even under severe machining conditions.

75 and 90 Rough Boring and Finish Boring Heads:
Dual insert head design for heavy duty roughing. 12 different head sizes cover a diameter range from 24 to 500mm. Integral insert pocket design for head sizes 22 - 54. Insert cartridge design for head sizes 68 - 500. Heads and cartridges available for up to 5 different insert styles (MC.., CC.., CN.., TC.., WC..). Simultaneous adjustment of the slide blocks. Override device to prevent stripping of adjusting screw. Micrometer adjustment on large boring heads, with 0.01mm increments. Cartridges have own radial adjusting screw for individual setting of cartridges. Change to different lead angle or insert style by simply exchanging cartridges.

Cartridge Design for Heads Size 68 ? 500mm:
Cartridges available for 5 different insert styles (MC.., CC.., CN.., TC.., WC..) Cartridges available with 75 and 90 lead angle, equipped with a radial adjusting screw for setting centrality or radial stagger. Available in pairs for symmetric or axial staggered insert set-up.
