Indexa-Seiki ER Collets

Indexa-Seiki ER collets are the most versatile toolholding system for any operation that utilises a round shank cutting tool in a machining centre. Typical applications include drilling, milling, tapping, reaming and boring.

When Indexa-Seiki? ER collets are used with round shank cutting tools the collet chucks centralise the cutting tool and if all the ER system components have been maintained correctly, this should result in increased tool life, higher feed rates, better work piece accuracy and enhanced work piece finish.

Indexa-Seiki ER Collets are available in the in a range of sizes to maximise efficiency in most applications, they are manufactured from hardened and tempered high alloy steel. All supplied in hardwearing bench cases with protective foam inserts.

Indexa-Seiki R8 Collets for Bridgeport Machines

Used directly in the machine spindle for general purpose milling and drilling operations, collets have dedicated bores for specific cutter shank sizes.



Available in bore sizes:
Metric: 3, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 and 20mm.

Manufactured to DIN 69880. Suitable for use in NC lathes with VDI fixing disc. Features: All tools are fully carburised and hardened. Surface hardness of 58 - 60HRC. Tensile strength above 1000N/mm2. Surfaces blued; seat, parallel shank and shoulder ground. Tools can be adjusted in-situ on radial and axial toolholders. Seat shim allows two tool sizes to be used with one toolholder. Ball regulator (bullseye) provides easy coolant control.
