Micrometer Ball Attachments

To suit the 1961, 1965 and 1966 series micrometers. Can be fitted to the anvil or spindle on external micrometers to enable round or irregular surfaces to be measured. The ball is hardened and moves freely to allow contact with the object being measured. Note: Always deduct the ball diameter from every reading.

External Micrometers - Mechanical

All have hardened steel or tungsten carbide measuring faces with a choice of standard or vernier type sleeve. Fitted with a 6.8mm spindle diameter, speeder type ratchet and locking lever. Supplied with an adjusting key. Comply with BS870, DIN863/1, ISO361

965 Series

Tungsten carbide. Blue textured tapered bow frame. Supplied in a durable plastic pocket case.

Outside Micrometer

Tungsten Carbide measuring faces with tapered bow frame. Frame is cut away at the anvil end to facilitate usage in narrow slots. Complete with ratchet, locking lever and supplied in a plastic case.
