No.4 Bailey Bench Planes

The base of the planes are manufactured from cast fine grey iron, all the contact surfaces are precision ground and polished to produce a stable platform for the blade. The unmachined parts are coated with a durable, high quality epoxy coating for long lasting protection against corrosion. The blade is manufactured from high carbon steel polished and precision ground, for a sharp long lasting edge. The blades are fully adjustable for depth of cut, alignment to the work surface and mouth size. The Frog with brass adjusting nut provides precise adjustment of the blade. The handles are virtually unbreakable and contoured to fit comfortably into the hand for improved control and reduced fatigue when in use.

Jack Plane

For rapidly removing stock, to prepare the rough timber before construction. 355mm base x 50mm blade width.

Hand Drills

All supplied with 8mm, 3 jaw chucks. Handles are moulded from the same tough polypropylene as used for chisel handles.

Light Duty

Precision die cast aluminium gear wheel and single pinion to keep weight to a minimum.

Back Saw/Tenon Saw

Reinforced back for extra rigidity makes a straighter cut. Handle screwed to blade for extra strength. Finger rest - ergonomic design, useful for extra control when starting a cut. Triple edged teeth cut on both push and pull strokes for ease of cutting. Induction hardened teeth. 45 and 90 angle quick reference points. Bi-material handle for improved grip and comfort.
