Weg Soft-Starters

Soft-Starters are static starters that accelerate, decelerate and protect three phase induction motors. The control of the voltage applied to the motor by means of adjustments to the firing angle of thyristors allows the soft-starter to start and stop an electric motor smoothly. Easy parameter setting, simplyfies start-up and operation. Compact size optimises the space in electical panels. Incorporates all protections for the driven motor.

Taper Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are comprised of solid inner and outer rings with raceways, taper rollers and cages manufactured from pressed steel. The bearings are not self-retaining. As a result, the inner ring with the rollers can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings are not sealed and not supplied grease filled.

Deep Groove Ball Bearings - C3 Clearance

C3 bearings have an additional internal radial clearance to cope with high speed environments where excess heat is generated.

Rubber sealed type:

With rubber seals inserted into the outer raceway and in contact with the inner race providing protection against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign objects. The seals also retain the pre-filled grease in the bearing. Seals can be easily removed for applications that only require one seal.

Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Single row angular contact bearings have the raceways arranged that the forces are transmitted from one raceway to the other at a specific contact angle and can only support axial forces in one direction. They must be axially adjusted against a second bearing fitted in a mirror image.

SK High Power Wedge Belts

The wrapped Optibelt SK wedge belt has been developed with mechanical engineering in mind.
It transmits substantially more power than the classical V-belt with comparable top width.
