Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Single row angular contact bearings have the raceways arranged that the forces are transmitted from one raceway to the other at a specific contact angle and can only support axial forces in one direction. They must be axially adjusted against a second bearing fitted in a mirror image.

Taper Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are comprised of solid inner and outer rings with raceways, taper rollers and cages manufactured from pressed steel. The bearings are not self-retaining. As a result, the inner ring with the rollers can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings are not sealed and not supplied grease filled.

Elastomeric Couplings

Rexnord Omega couplings are non-lubricated, material-flexing couplings utilising a specially formulated polyurethane material engineered for maximum durability, strength and fatigue resistance. The flex element is designed to split in half, allowing simplified assembly and disassembly. Interchangeable hubs allow for reduced inventory. High misalignment capacity accommodates unavoidable misalignment with low reactionary forces. Torsionally soft flex element cushions shock loads and vibration extending equipment life. Polyurethane flex element does not require lubrication. Polyurethane-to-metal bond eliminates assembly and slippage problems associated with mechanically clamped designs.

Self-Aligning Ball Bearings

2200 & 2300 Series self-aligning ball bearings are double row with a concave raceway to allow approximately 4° of misalignment. They have a tapered bore for use with adaptor sleeves. There are also a range of sealed versions available.

Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical roller bearings are double row units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner rings and barrel rollers with cages. We stock both the plain (symmetrical) bore (EAW33) and taper bore (EAKW33).
The symmetrical barrel rollers orientate themselves freely on the concave outer raceway. As a result, shaft flexing and misalignment of the bearing seats are compensated.
