Indexa-Seiki? Threading Toolholders

An "On Edge" three cornered vertical threading system for use in circumstances where other threading systems would foul the component or lathe centre. On the wear-resistance and tougher base material, Multi-layer coating are adopted. This grade shows twice the tool life as conventional grade. Medium to high speed cutting for steels and medium speed cutting for cast iron.
FT - Excellent swarf control can be obtained at small depth of cut and low feed rate. Excellent finish to work-surface is achievable. This fine finishing chipbreaker offers an optimum for high-speed cutting when used with Cermet Grade inserts.

Iscar HELITURN Indexable Inserts

Iscar HELITURN LD Inserts with High Helical Cutting Edge for High Metal Removal Rates. The HELITURN LD inserts WNMX ...-HTW and CNMX ...-HTW are produced from the most advanced SUMO TEC grades. These inserts are designed with very positive radial helical cutting edges and positive rake angles ? a combination which substantially reduces the cutting forces and facilitates higher productivity.

The CNMX and WNMX insert corners are equipped with a wiper configuration which produces high surface finish, even at high feeds.

In many cases the surface finish is sufficient for eliminating a finishing cut.
HELITURN LD inserts were designed for heavy machining applications. Their unique design ensures reliable, Fast Metal Removal.

WNMX HELITURN Indexable Inserts

Grade Description: IC8150 A very hard substrate with a cobalt enriched layer, improved MTCVD TiCN and a thick alpha AI2O3 CVD coating. Features excellent thermal stability, resistance to chipping and plastic deformation. Recommended for high speed machining of steel at stable or slightly unstable conditions.
