An "On Edge" three cornered vertical threading system for use in circumstances where other threading systems would foul the component or lathe centre. Toolholders have a helix angle incorporated into the pocket which satisfies the majority of applications. The relationship between diameter and pitch is shown at the foot of the page and illustrates the parameters within which this threading system will be applicable.
