Volt Stick

An instant tester for safely checking the presence of an AC voltage, without making any disconnections in cables, wall sockets, fuses, circuit breakers, junction boxes, etc. No current flow is needed for correct operation. The red indicator in the tip will illuminate on detection of AC voltage simply by applying the tip close to any connection point, or moving it along any insulated cable. The PRO12 features a unique ?shielded? forktip for highly selective and accurate testing for presence of AC voltage in specific cables or wires. Ideal for professional, close proximity testing and installation work. Cables and connections can easily be checked in low voltage equipment too. Extremely safe when measuring in junction boxes, with the supplied field strength amplifier, anti-tamper, earthed outlets can be checked. Powerful red light in the tip to indicate voltage. Used for checking the presence of an AC voltage, locates break in cables, detects blown fuses and distinguishes between live and neutral wires in both single and three phase supply, without making any disconnection in cables, wall sockets etc. Volt Stick has a sensitivity of up to 4mm distance of a 2,5mm conductor carrying 220 - 400V. Note: The Volt Stick is for use on 50Hz supply only.

9150 Metal, Volt & Stud Detector

LED and audio detection for use on metal such as iron, steel, copper and brass, and can pin-point hidden screws and nails. Detects dead or live mains cables also hidden water and gas pipes, joists, battens and wooden studs. Operates through plasterboards, plywood, wall panelling and floorboards. Self calibrating with a low battery indicator. Uses 9V battery. To be used on stud walls only, not suitable for plastic pipe or foil insulated walls.

Magnet Stick

Upon testing and without metallic contact, the lamp lights immediately where there is a magnetic field; eg, an activated coil in a solenoid valve. Equipment can be tested without having to switch it off and magnetic coils can often be tested through their protective cover, saving hours of dismantling time. The Magnetic Stick responds to all kinds of magnetic fields - from alternating or direct current, to permanent magnets. Operating Temperature: -20C up to 50C.
