MediKit First Aid Kits

Burnshield is a simple to use gel impregnated burn treatment designed to lower skin temperature and alleviate pain prior to hospital treatment. These dressings are suitable for second and third degree burns and scalds. They are manufactured from open-cell foam; all dressings come saturated in a water based gel made sterile by gamma irradiation. Simple to apply and remove without causing any discomfort, Burnshield soothes and moisturise the burn area by inhibiting fluid loss.

Sodium chloride 0.9%.



Sterile eye wash solution that relieves irritation, discomfort, burning, stinging or itching by removing loose foreign material. Active ingredient: Sodium chloride (0.9%).

Conforms with HSE 10 & 20 person kits with extra items. The ABS box folds out flat with compartments and 2 clear sleeves which allows easy access and visibility to the first aid dressings.
Contents: 1x guidance leaflet, 20x individually wrapped sterile plasters, 2x no.16 sterile eye pads, 4x triangular bandages, 6x safety pins, 6x medium sterile dressing 120 x 120mm, 2x large sterile dressing 180 x 180mm, 6x alcohol free cleansing wipes, 1pr disposable gloves. Also supplied with 1x emergency foil blanket, 1x microporous tape (25mm x 10m), 1pr scissors, 2x steropore dressings (60 x 70mm), 2x low adherent pads (75 x 75mm), 1x personal protection pack (apron, gloves, disposable bag, resusciade, wipe).

Tuffsafe First Aid Kits come in durable polypropylene plastic cases with internal compartments for ease of access to the required dressing or treatment, secure lids help protect contents against dust and moisture. They are wall mountable and are supplied with optional hanging bracket enabling the kits to be positioned at fixed first aid points but also easily released from the wall bracket to enable it to be carried to the injured person.

All establishments will need at least one first aid box. Large factories/offices will need first aid kits in every self contained working area and it is recommended that companies with more than 50 employees should consider the provision of more than one kit.

Remember that first aid should always be nearby and it is advisable to have one First Aid Kit of the appropriate size for each enclosed area.
