Medikit Sharps Disposal Containers

This range of containers provide an ideal solution for the safe disposal of contaminated sharps. First aid kits compliant with BSi8599

The BS8599 standard replaces the BHTA-HSE and will be effective from 30th June 2011, with a transitional introduction period until 31st December 2011. The BS8599 kits have a more comprehensive content compared to BHTA-HSE kits.

All establishments will need at least one first aid box. Large factories/offices will need first aid kits in every self contained working area and it is recommended that companies with more than 50 employees should consider the provision of more than one kit.

Remember that first aid should always be nearby and it is advisable to have one First Aid Kit of the appropriate size for each enclosed area.
