Kennedy Cold Chisels

Kennedy cold chisels are manufactured from high quality, high strength octagonal section chrome vanadium steel with ground cutting edges. They are are used to channel brickwork, concrete, chip stone and to remove waste metal when a very smooth finish is not required or when the work cannot be done easily with other tools, such as a hacksaw, file, bench shears or power tools. The head of each chisel is chamfered to slow down the formation of the mushroom shape caused by hammering. Conform to: BS3066.

3 Piece Flat Chisel Sets

Used by the engineering and building trades for cutting and chipping cold metals, brick work and stone. The angle of the cut edge should be 60 - 70, inclusive, but is dependant on the material to be cut. When cutting metal, the softer the material is, the more acute the cutting angle should be.

The Right Angled Seam Chisel And L Bar has been specially designed by Kennedy Tools for the separation of hard to reach spot welds and bonded panels as well as coping with the many traditional uses for pry & wrecking bars.

The Right Angled Rascal Bar with three sharpened edges is designed to allow two-directional hammer use on quarter panels, rockers and any other pinchweld. The sharp end allows for penetration between the panels and the two lower edges allows for side impact to drive the panels apart. The chisel tip can be used for starting seam separation.

Cross Cut Chisels

Used for cutting keyways or flat bottomed grooves in blocks of steel or on steel shafts. The cutting edge is wider than the blade to give clearance in work and prevent jamming.
