Self-Aligning Ball Bearings

These bearings are pre-greased but seals limit angular travel possibilities to 1/20. Basic loads are the same as the series 12 and 13 bearings of the same diameter, as they have the same internal design definition. The misalignment angle must nevertheless be limited in order to remain within values compatible with the sealing system used, the permissible misalignment is limited to 0.5

Shielded type:

With metal shields inserted into the outer raceway, these fit in closely to the inner race providing moderate protection against mechanical damage, and against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign objects. The shields also retain the pre-filled grease in the bearing. Shields can be easily removed for applications that only require one shield.

You are strongly advised against submitting them to radial loading. Ball thrust bearings are comprised of separate items facilitating installation and maintenance. Grease and oil lubrication is feasible.
