Kennedy Drain Rods

Kennedy drain rods are the essential tool to have to easily and rapidly unblock drains, pipes or sewers. They are manufactured to exacting industry quality standards using polypropylene rod tubing that is fitted with solid brass threaded joints securely fixed in place with brass rivets. These Kennedy drain rods are strong, durable and are slightly flexible to ensure the rods have the right amount of flex to make it easier to feed them into the drain through the inspection hatch and to follow the bends in any drain, pipe or sewer. A full range of plunger, worm screw and drop scraper attachments are available.

Available as two different types of rod connecting joints:

Universal screwed thread connectors for rapid assembly and disassembly.
Lockfast retaining nut joints are secured with a spanner.

Manufactured from forged cast iron the high strength "I" beam handle provides a comfortable grip without excess weight, helping to reduce user fatigue. The replaceable jaws are manufactured from hardened and ground high alloy steel, with a high grip serrated contact surface. Fully floating hook jaw with spring suspension for rapid grip and release. Knurled adjustment nut.
