Copper coated, double deoxidised with manganese and silicon with good mechanical properties. For use with CO2 and AR-CO2. For welding mild steel and C-Mn steels. Available in 0.8mm (15kg drum), 1.0mm and 1.2mm (18kg drums). Made to BS 2901/1 : 1983 A18 & BS EN 440 G3 Si1.

2% Thoriated, Colour Coded Red

Designed for DC (Neg) or straight polarity use. Maintain a sharp tip configuration during welding. Suitable for use with steels, nickel alloys and most alloys other than aluminium and magnesium. Not for AC welding.
