Grinding Machine Guards

The three types of guard all comply with the Abrasive Wheels Regulations, the Protection of Eye Regulations 1974 and have been tested to BS 2092 Grade 1. The visor is manufactured from polycarbonate. The frames for the 130003 and 130005 guards are moulded reinforced nylon and the 130007 are manufactured from aluminium.

Drill & Chuck Guards

3 Section, self adjusting telescopic action for full operator protection from quill to drill point. Scratch resistant polycarbonate visors in both sections. The lower section can also be removed to allow use with shorter drills without obscuring vision. For use with drills with a collar size of 50 to 88mm diameter. Supplied with two bush blanks which can be turned on the O/D to the size of the collar and split along premarked line before inserting into guard. Bush Sizes: 88 x 50mm and 88 x 70mm. Minimum Length: 115mm. Overall Length:\tFull; 265mm. Using 2 sections; 186mm.

Mill Guards

Steel tubular frame and 5mm thick polycarbonate visors for heavy duty applications. Complies with BS EN 292 : 1993 and BS 5304 : 1988.

Enclosure

Quick release plunger pin allows each section to swing aside for instant access. Can be installed on any make of milling machine. Supplied with T-slot and bolts. Model EM/1 has 1 hinged side and front panel, right hand opening as standard (if left hand is required please state when ordering). Models EM/2 and EM/3 have two equal size panels.
