Iscar HELITURN LD Inserts with High Helical Cutting Edge for High Metal Removal Rates. The HELITURN LD inserts WNMX ...-HTW and CNMX ...-HTW are produced from the most advanced SUMO TEC grades. These inserts are designed with very positive radial helical cutting edges and positive rake angles ? a combination which substantially reduces the cutting forces and facilitates higher productivity.

The CNMX and WNMX insert corners are equipped with a wiper configuration which produces high surface finish, even at high feeds.

In many cases the surface finish is sufficient for eliminating a finishing cut.
HELITURN LD inserts were designed for heavy machining applications. Their unique design ensures reliable, Fast Metal Removal.

ISCAR has recently added the HMW chipformer for machining stainless steel, high temperture alloys and soft, low carbon steel.

CNMX and WNMX inserts require special tools with appropriate seats.

WNMX HELITURN Indexable Inserts

Grade Description: IC8150 A very hard substrate with a cobalt enriched layer, improved MTCVD TiCN and a thick alpha AI2O3 CVD coating. Features excellent thermal stability, resistance to chipping and plastic deformation. Recommended for high speed machining of steel at stable or slightly unstable conditions.

WNMG Indexable Turning Inserts

QX520 (ISO P10-P35 M10-M30 K10-K30) Coated. An excellent general purpose grade for medium roughing on Steels, Stainless and Cast Irons.

RDHX Inserts

Grade UMS
(P35) Uncoated Grade for rough machining of steel in unfavourable conditions. Large cutting depths and high feeds.

Indexa-Seiki? tool blocks are for use on manual and CNC lathes, these universal style tool blocks will accurately clamp all parting blades of the corresponding width, 26mm or 32mm. The rigid clamping method allows blades to be set securely for varying depths of cut.
