The ECOCOOL ULTRALIFE range was developed
through co-operative research between leading UK
manufacturers and FUCHS" expert team of engineers
and chemists*; to develop a range of ?best in class?
coolants compared to other leading UK brands**.
ECOCOOL ULTRALIFE products were developed in
response to HSE guidelines regarding working safely
with metalworking fluids***, to offer products with
extended sump life, exceptional resistance to bacterial
growth and requiring minimal to zero maintenance.
As part of the development process, ECOCOOL
ULTRALIFE products were developed to show
industry leading performance in areas of tramp oil
rejection, detergency, lubricity, compatibility with
modern tooling, low foaming and corrosion protection
to offer users guaranteed improvements in coolant
performance and management.



Application:
Ecocool Ultralife A is a high performance
semi-synthetic fluid, with a high oil content and EP additives, for use in general machining and heavy duty operations. Specifically designed for use on aluminium alloys, stainless steels and automotive aluminium castings.
pH @ 5%: 8.9 - 9.2.
Recommended concentration: 5 - 8%.

Castrol Metal Cutting Lubricants

A fully synthetic soluble cutting fluid, intended for grinding ferrous metals. Has excellent health and safety characteristics, containing no mineral oil, phenols or sodium nitrite. Combines outstanding grinding characteristics with good operator acceptability and wide application in general machining. In general grinding operations, it permits a high surface finish to be achieved while ensuring long wheel life. It has good anti-corrosion properties in soft and hard waters and is compatible with all metals.

Environmentally improved - does NOT contain phenols, boron, triazene, PTBBA or chlorinated additives. Based on highly refined mineral oils. High degree of machine tool lubrication. Ideal for a wide range of machining operations. Low odour. Low unit cost. Specially formulated for use in both hard and soft waters.

Recommended concentrations:
General machining 7% or (a dilution of 14 to 1). Grinding (surface, cylindrical centreless) 2 - 3% or (a dilution of 2% 50 to 1 or 3% 33 to 1).

High Performance Cutting Fluid

Improved machining of special grade stainless steels and aluminium alloys. Contains aluminium corrosion inhibitors. For drilling, turning, milling, threading, grinding. Bactericide free - reduced dermatitis issues. No odour. Highly resistant to micro-organisms, bacteria, fungi - pH-value 9.4. Novel lubricating component - Extremely efficient lubrication and cooling resulting in longer tool life.

Q8 Cutting Oils

High performance neat cutting oil providing excellent tool life and surface finish. For multiple machining applications: milling, drilling, thread grinding, broaching, gear hobbing, etc. Multi-metal applications: ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Non-staining on non-ferrous metals. A clear, pale yellow straight cutting fluid manufactured from solvent refined mineral oil and blended with fatty oil and chlorinated additives. Ensures good tool life and cutting performance. A wide range of duties may be performed using this oil, for apart from its application to automatic and multi-tool lathes handling the higher tensile steels, Ilocut 486 is suitable for such specialised operations as production thread grinding, broaching and multi-cutter milling set-ups. Castrol Ilocut 486 is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, high tensile steels, Inconel, high nickel and stainless steel. General Machining 7% or (a dilution of 14 to 1). Heavy duty machining 10% or (a dilution of 10 to 1).

High performance semi-synthetic cutting and grinding fluid giving optimum performance at high dilution whilst remaining resistant to bacterial and fungal attack. For a wide range of cutting and grinding operations on most workpiece materials. Recommended dilution between 40:1 and 60:1 for cutting; 50:1 and 70:1 for grinding.

Q8 Cutting Oils

Mineral based neat cutting oil with special non-active sulphur EP additive package, lubricity additive package and mist reducing additive. Recommended for all heavy duty machining operations.

Bach NKM Neat Cutting Oil

General-Purpose Cutting Fluid
