Dry Film Mould Release P.T.F.E. Spray

Solent Mould Release PTFE Dry Film is a micro-thin surface coating that is used to coat the inner surfaces of injection moulding tools/dies. Thus enabling easy component release. The coating will not bridge complex mould profiles and will not interfere with precision fits. The applied PTFE film will not transfer to the moulded item. The product can also be used in any location that requires a dry slip surface such as production line slides, tracks or tables.

Silicone Release Spray For Plastics & Rubber

Heavy duty Silicone lubricant and Release agent. Formulated with a high silicone content. The product is suitable for a wide range of uses. A dry non-oily, non-greasy product. Water clear with no odour. Size: 500ml aerosol.

Solent? Dry Moly EP Lubricant

The molybdenum disulphide lubricant particles are one micron or less in size allowing the product to adhere in the smallest surface irregularities. Fast drying at room temperature, the dry coating can be polished if required, to a high shine providing micro coating of lubricant for slides, bearings, chutes and conveyors. The dry film is resistant to pick up and resists the accumulation of debris. Ideal for fastener lubrication where it will prevent galling, particularly on stainless steel. Effective on foundry equipment where high temperatures up to 450C are common. Also suitable for open gear lubrication and any location where a wet coating is not acceptable or would burn off. Provides lubrication at extremely high load rates up to 100,000 psi. Suitable for all steels, copper, and brass components. No silicone content. Packed in a 500ml aerosol for economy in use.

Maintenance Spray

Solent Maintenance SM4-500C maintenance spray is ideally suitable for:

LUBRICATING - as it is a high performance mineral oil based lubricant with PTFE.
DISPLACES WATER - To help Start damp petrol engines.
PENETRATES - To allow easy release of rusty fixings.
CLEANS & PROTECTS - Cleans metal surfaces and prevents rusting of treated parts.

It does not contain naphtha, kerosene or paraffin which are all associated with operator skin dryness, cracking or dermatitis. It is electrically non-conductive at normal ranges found in the home. Care must be taken if used on some electrical plastic components where 'crazing' may occur. Test for suitability on painted surfaces before general application. A non-flammable CO2 propellant is used that in the large 500ml can size will deliver up to 15% more product than some 'like for like' butane propelled aerosols.

Anti Rust Protection Spray - For Tools and Packing

Solent Green Moisture Guard is a soft thin film moisture/ corrosion protective coating. Packed in a large 500ml aerosol. The coating has a slight green colouring which clearly indicates treated areas. Ideal for longer terms moisture/corrosion protection of machined components/moulding dies and tools. Removed easily with Solent Industrial Cleaner, part number SC1-500B.

Drive Belt Dressing

Reduces slip on drive belts and helps to stop belt squeal. Can be used on drive belts exposed to weather, ideal for farm machines, alternator drive belts and fan belts. Helps to stop cracking and extends belt life. Can be used on rubber, leather, canvas and most types of synthetic belts. Size: 500ml Aerosol

Open Gear Spray with Molybdenum

Solent Tufgear Lubricant is a premium extreme pressure lubricant packed in a 500 ml aerosol. Based on Molybdenum Disulphide anti-wear additives. Suitable for lubricating all open gears where a thin film is specified. Suitable for temperatures as low as -40C to 100C.

Heavy Duty Anti-rust protection spray

Solent Heavy Duty Anti-Rust Protection Spray is supplied in a large 500ml aerosol. It is a high performance corrosion inhibitor. The product is sprayed directly onto the surface to be protected. Clear in colour with a faint yellow trace to identify treated surfaces. The film has self healing properties and is easily removed with solvent cleaners. The coating will resist moisture, acid and alkali fumes. The film does not contain Silicone or Halogens. Corrosion protection periods vary with environmental conditions. Typical interior protection in the UK in excess of 2 years. Product can be re-applied should conditions require it.
