Kennedy Welding Helmets

The Kennedy Jet Black Auto-X? welding helmet automatically protects the operator from eye injuries, caused by weld arc and also leave both hands free when welding. The helmet is equipped with two photo sensors that sense arc light, these automatically switch the filter from shade 4 (transparent prior to welding to enable the operator to observe the work piece clearly) as soon as the Arc is struck the filter darkens automatically with immediate effect to the to pre-selected shade 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13. When the arc goes out, the filter will become transparent again.

The switching time from light to dark is approximately 0.0001 seconds, and the switching time from dark to light can be set at between 0.1 - 0.6 second.

The Kennedy Jet Black Auto-X? mask provides complete protection against UV/IR to DIN15 even in transparent mode and is dual powered by 2 lithium batteries and a solar panel with two sets of photo sensors to sense arc light. The outer shell of the helmet is manufactured from a high polymer thermostable material that is spatter resistant to ensure a long service life.

Kennedy Welding Helmet

The Kennedy Automatic Variable Shade Welding Helmet automatically protects the operator from eye injuries caused by weld arc, leaving both hands free. The helmet is equipped with two sets of photo sensors to sense arc light, these switch the filter from shade 4 to the to pre-selected shade 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13 in just 0.5ms. As the helmet is powered by an integral solar panel no bulky batteries are required which reduces the weight and size of the helmet and ensures that the helmet always has power when you need it. The filter provides permanent UV/IR protection up to DIN 15 whilst in use. Any of the five welding shades can be easily selected using the side mounted adjustment dial. The Kennedy welding helmet shell is certified to DIN EN 169 and DIN 179 and is suitable for Arc & Mig/Mag welding only.

Scorpion Polycarbonate Lens Anti-Mist/Scratch Resistant Safety Goggles

Kennedy Personal Protection Scorpion safety goggles provide medium energy impact and UV protection at extreme environmental temperatures they are resistant to splashes of molten metals and penetration of hot solids. The 2mm thick polycarbonate lenses have a scratch resistant and anti-mist coating to protect and preserve the optical clarity of the lens, to extend their working life.

Scorpion safety goggles are ergonomically designed with a soft anatomically correct fitting shaped PVC frame that adapts to comfortably fit the face. The nose bridge is raised above the lens on the outside of the goggle to provide extra protection from scratching when the goggles are placed face down on any surface. The large lens allows an unrestricted field of peripheral vision and has built-in brow and cheek protection. The goggles are securely and comfortably held in place by a wide hypo-allergenic elasticated headband.
