Taper Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are comprised of solid inner and outer rings with raceways, taper rollers and cages manufactured from pressed steel. The bearings are not self-retaining. As a result, the inner ring with the rollers can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings are not sealed and not supplied grease filled.

Lock Nuts

Used primarily to help lock and locate bearings on shafts or adaptor sleeves. They have evenly spaced slots on the circumference for use with the SNR range of hook spanners.

Thrust Ball Bearings

Thrust Bearings are designed primarily to support axial loads at contact angles between 30° and 90°. Just as with radial bearings, these bearings differ according to the type of rolling element they use. With thrust bearings, it is necessary to supply an axial preload in order to prevent slipping movement between the bearing's rolling element and raceways.
Comprising of caged ball bearing element and pair of shaft housing washers (bearing shaft washer and housing washer, and the normal contact angle is 90°. Axial loads can be supported in only one direction, radial loads cannot be accommodated. Spherical roller and needle roller versions are also available.

You are strongly advised against submitting them to radial loading. Ball thrust bearings are comprised of separate items facilitating installation and maintenance. Grease and oil lubrication is feasible.

Applications: vertical shaft, lathe tailstock, plate-type pumps.

Tab Washers

Tab washers are used for securing KM series lock nuts. They have an inner tab for location on the adaptor sleeve. One of the external tabs is bent over a slot when used wit the
KM series lock nuts.

Deep Groove Ball Bearings - C3 Clearance

C3 bearings have an additional internal radial clearance to cope with high speed environments where excess heat is generated.

Open type:

Without seals to allow for the free circulation of either oil or grease.

Rubber sealed type:

With rubber seals inserted into the outer raceway and in contact with the inner race providing protection against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign objects. The seals also retain the pre-filled grease in the bearing. Seals can be easily removed for applications that only require one seal.

SNR Pillow Block Housings

The housings are produced from grey cast iron in compliance with DIN EN 1561 and external surface painted RAL 5010 - Gentian Blue) the machined surfaces are treated with an anti-corrosion agent. Threaded for grease nipple or automatic lubrication and grease drain hole which is sealed with a metal threaded plug at the factory but can be removed subject to application.
Housings based on ISO 113/II: 1994 and DIN 736: 1984 to DIN 739: 1984.

500 Series for use with tapered bore from 1200K, 2200K, 22200K and 23200K with shaft diameter: 20mm to 140mm. 600 Series for use with tapered bore from 1300K, 3200K, 21300K and 22300K with shaft diameter: 20mm to 90mm.
