Manufactured to DIN 69880. Suitable for use in NC lathes with VDI fixing disc. Features: All tools are fully carburised and hardened. Surface hardness of 58 - 60HRC. Tensile strength above 1000N/mm2. Surfaces blued; seat, parallel shank and shoulder ground. Tools can be adjusted in-situ on radial and axial toolholders. Seat shim allows two tool sizes to be used with one toolholder. Ball regulator (bullseye) provides easy coolant control.

The new HELIDO H490 ANKX rectangular inserts have 4 helical right-hand positive cutting edges. They were designed in cutting edge lengths of 9, 12 and 17 mm.
