Uncoated carbide grade for grey cast iron over 220HBN, malleable cast iron, silicon aluminum, copper alloys. fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) phenolic laminates, stone, wood, stainless steel and high-temp resistant alloys. Suitable for Finishing and medium finishing at medium speed, medium feed and interrupted cut conditions. High wear resistance.

TAG Insert Features

* Enables machining at very high feed rates and provides excellent straightness and surface finish.

The TAG inserts are available with the familiar J- and C-Type chipformers, with neutral and angular frontal cutting edges. First choice for the parting of bars, hard materials and tough applications. A positive rake, single cavity with negative land and shoulders, provides extra cutting-edge strength, medium-to-high feeds.
