The TAG inserts are available with the familiar J- and C-Type chipformers, with neutral and angular frontal cutting edges. A tough submicron substrate improved TiAIN PVD coated grade for better chip flow. Designed for machining heat resistant alloys, austenitic stainless steel, hard alloys and carbon steel at medium to high cutting speeds, interrupted cut and unfavourable conditions. Excellent notch wear and built-up edge resistance.

IC10 Grade description:(K20-K30).
Uncoated carbide grade for grey cast iron over 220HBN, malleable cast iron, silicon aluminium, copper alloys, fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) phenolic laminates, stone, wood and high-temp resistant alloys. Suitable for semi-roughing at low speed, medium feed and interrupted cut conditions. High wear resistance.
