These are lightweight, well balanced and rigid. Satin-chrome finish with hardened, ground and lapped measuring screw. Each micrometer of less than 300mm (12") is supplied with convenient handle to reach into deep holes. The set also includes spacing collar, a series of precision measuring rods and a dull chrome plated micrometer head. Spacing collars are designed for making up for the limited stroke of the micrometer head. Each rod marked with length. Easily reset - adjustment positive and permanent. Blade Micrometers - Satin Chrome Finished Frame

For the measurement of narrow grooves in forming tools, shaft diameters, keyways, splines, etc. The spindle is non-rotating, the anvils hardened and precision lapped.
