Backpack Kit

Contents: 1 or 2 point Duraflex elasticated harness, rear anchorage and 2M elasticated Miller lanyard with 50mm steel scaffold hook with Teflon finish. Supplied in a backpack.

Tuffsafe Fall Arrest Equipment

Trauma suspension straps are simple and easy to use and can fit all Tuffsafe harnesses. They allow the worker to stand up in their harness to ease the discomfort whilst suspended from a lanyard after a fall. Helps release the tension within the harness straps to relieve pressure on the groin which helps prevent loss of circulation to the legs and feet.
Prior to use attach one pack to the outer side of each leg strap. In the event of a fall unzip the pouches to release the straps and thread the plain end through both chrome rings and back through only one and pull tight to form a loop approx shin height. Stand up slowly on the straps and the discomfort will be relieved.

Parking loops are simple and easy to use. Prevents wear on harness straps. The clip is designed to fit onto the shoulder strap of the harness. One fitted the karabiner is connected directly to the loop for safe stowage when not in use. This stops the lanyard from trailing on the floor and causing a trip hazard.

The RGH16 is a further innovation of the Ridgegear range of safety harness. For fall arrest the harness comprises front and rear D rings. In addition there is the added benefit of 2 side D work positioning D rings on a comfortable support pad, and a further ventral front D ring positioned at the waist for sit suspension and / or work positioning. This comfortable harness is designed for operatives who spend long hours working at height and in exposed areas. The RGH16 is a 'multi task' harness and will allow operatives to access almost any area in safety using a combination of the RidgeGear products available. The belt is also fitted with three gear loops for carrying tools leaving the hands free thus maintaining the required three points of contact when climbing. All of the features, combined with a good load bearing capacity, make this harness the ideal choice for the professional. The harness is fully adjustable and can be quickly and easily adjusted to fit the wearer. The position of the waist comfort pad can be adjusted to give optimum comfort. Leg straps are opened using lightweight adjustable quick click buckles, which allow for easy and quick step-in facility. Comfort leg pads are also provided.
