TiN coating has been applied to 35%-50% of the flute length (dependent on drill diameter) to keep cost down and lower the cost per hole. The 135 split point is advantageous for the pre-drilling of rivets and for drilling in sheet metal. Suitable for drilling alloy steel, carbon steels, cast iron, titanium and aluminium. Manufactured to DIN1897, ANSI.
