SNR Shaft Seals & Adaptors

Cover plates are made of corrosion-resistant steel and used where the shaft terminates inside the housing. In this configuration only one seal set will be required.

SNR Bearings

SNR has developed a complete range of high quality ball thrust bearings. Thrust bearings are designed to maintain the shaft in one single direction. They admit low rotating speeds and sustain high axial loads.

You are strongly advised against submitting them to radial loading. Ball thrust bearings are comprised of separate items facilitating installation and maintenance. Grease and oil lubrication is feasible.

Applications: vertical shaft, lathe tailstock, plate-type pumps.

Angular Contact Bearings - Double Row

Double-row angular-contact ball bearings accept axial loads in both directions and can be used singly, as dual bearing units.? withstand axial loads in both directions? accept relatively high speeds of rotationThe construction of these bearings limits them to very small misalignment values, in the range of 0.06.

Series 32...B, 33...B

Contact angle 32, with filling slots and accept axial loads (higher loads than Type A) in a predominant direction. Cage in pressed steel, synthetic material or machined brass.

Adapter Sleeves

Adaptor sleeves are commonly used for locating tapererd bored bearing and securing them to a shaft. They can be accurately positioned and dismounted. By using in conjuction with SNR feeler gauges accurate radial clearances will be achieved.

Taper Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are comprised of solid inner and outer rings with raceways, taper rollers and cages manufactured from pressed steel. The bearings are not self-retaining. As a result, the inner ring with the rollers can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings are not sealed and not supplied grease filled.

SNR Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Rubber seals inserted into the outer raceway and in contact with the inner race providing protection against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign objects.

Lock Nuts

Used primarily to help lock and locate bearings on shafts or adaptor sleeves. They have evenly spaced slots on the circumference for use with the SNR range of hook spanners.
