Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Single row angular contact bearings have the raceways arranged that the forces are transmitted from one raceway to the other at a specific contact angle and can only support axial forces in one direction. They must be axially adjusted against a second bearing fitted in a mirror image.

Taper Roller Bearings

Tapered roller bearings are comprised of solid inner and outer rings with raceways, taper rollers and cages manufactured from pressed steel. The bearings are not self-retaining. As a result, the inner ring with the rollers can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings are not sealed and not supplied grease filled.

With rubber seals inserted into the outer raceway and in contact with the inner race providing protection against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign objects. The seals also retain the pre-filled grease in the bearing. Seals can be easily removed for applications that only require one seal.

The shields also retain the pre-filled grease in the bearing. Shields can be easily removed for applications that only require one shield.
