Senator® Diamond Dressing Tool

Conventional abrasive wheels need truing and regularly dressing to maintain a quality grinding performance, Senator single point diamond dressing tools have a single industrial diamond embedded in a cylindrical steel shaft they are suitable for performing both of these applications:

Truing is the process of aligning the periphery of the grinding wheel so that it runs concentric with its axis of rotation. This allows accurate and precise relative motion between the grinding wheel and the part being ground.

Dressing removes dulled abrasive and foreign material that has been embedded into the wheel. This allows the wheel to cut properly. Senator® diamond dressing tools are mainly used to true straight-faced grinding wheels.

Independent Jaw Lathe Chucks

4 jaw, independent chuck with manual gripping, and a high quality cast iron body (160mm is steel body). 4 jaws ensure the precise centering of square-shaped workpieces with the maximum permitted gripping force. Chuck with diameters 250mm and above are equipped with additional T/slots, permitting the addition of extra jaws. Mounted directly to CAMLOCK type machine-tool spindles. DIN 55029.

Precision Ground Flat Stock (18")

The dimensional stability of ground flat stock combines with other useful characteristics including excellent resistance to cracking during heat treatment compared with other, more highly alloyed, cold work tools. Relatively soft and easy to machine. High wear resistance after heat treatment. Holds a good cutting edge. Suitable for EDM machining.
Typical applications: widely used in precision tools, machine knives, gauges, jigs, templates, punches, dies and machine parts.
The Cost Cutting Stock: extensive range of widths and thicknesses enables the selection of an appropriate size of ground flat stock to minimise material and machining costs.
