Manufactured in three standard grades. (All sizes are nominal). Manufactured to ISO DIN BHMA Standards.
P40:
Roughing to heavy roughing of steel and steel castings using heavy feeds and low to medium cutting speeds. Also used under unfavourable conditions, particularly where intermittent cutting is involved. This grade is also suitable for planing operations and for machining manganese steel.
P30:
Carbide tipped tools are suitable for heavy duty turning and boring on all classes of steel. Suitable also for interrupted cutting and machining at low speeds and heavy feeds.
K20:
General-purpose tools for most applications. Ideal for machining cast iron, non-ferrous metals, bakelite etc. Combines wear resistance with toughness when rough turning at moderate cutting speeds. Suitable for high feed rates.

Guhring Production Jobber Drills HSS-Co 5%

Rigid, high heat resistant drill with large helix angle of 35. Suited for titanium and titanium alloys, stainless steels and heat resisting austenitic steels. TiN coated gives greater wear resistance and longer tool life. Limited suitability for special alloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel, Nimonic etc. Manufactured to DIN338.

Kennametal Indexable Turning Inserts

Grade Description: KC850 grade is equivalent to the following grades M25-M45, P25-P45. A tri-phase coating on an extra strong, cobalt-enriched substrate makes this Kennametal CNMG insert suitable for general purpose machining of many work piece materials. With the advent of higher machine tool spindle speeds, today it finds its best application in heavy cutting of low, medium, and high carbon steels, as well as medium hardness alloy and tool steels. Excellent thermal and mechanical shock resistance makes grade KC850 ideally suited for difficult applications with interruptions.
