Guhring Machine Chucking Reamers Intermediate Diameter HSS-E

Available in diameters ranging from 2mm to 10mm in increments of 0.01mm. Made from HSS-E steel with a bright finish, left hand spiral flute. For all ferrous and non-ferrous metals and hard and soft plastics. For use on CNC machines, producing high quality reamed holes. Manufactured to DIN 212 and DIN 2172 section 1.

Shank diameter equals cutting diameter - 0.025mm.

The TAG inserts are available with the familiar J- and C-Type chipformers, with neutral and angular frontal cutting edges. The TANG-GRIP family includes square shank tools, blades and inserts in 1.4 - 9.5mm widths in the most advanced IC830 and IC808 SUMO TEC grades. The blades are in standard siuzes which fit ISCAR?s standard blocks.

TAG N-C Parting & Grooving Inserts

Sherwood Jobber Drills Steam Tempered HSS

Suitable for drilling steel, cast steel, alloyed and unalloyed, grey cast iron, spheroidal iron, sintered powder metal, German silver and graphite. Manufactured to BS328/DIN338RN.

Black Finish (W-Finish)
This is the most common surface finish and is the result of a steam tempering operation in which steam is passed over the product during a controlled tempering cycle, producing a black oxide layer. Black tools are generally recommended for ferrous applications where the oxide layer aids chip flow, helps to dissipate heat by retaining some coolant on the tool surface and also helps to prevent the tool from staining.

Series 557 - 90 Degree

Kennedy® Brazed Tip Turning and Boring Tools

Manufactured in three standard grades. (All sizes are nominal). Manufactured to ISO DIN BHMA Standards.
P40:
Roughing to heavy roughing of steel and steel castings using heavy feeds and low to medium cutting speeds. Also used under unfavourable conditions, particularly where intermittent cutting is involved. This grade is also suitable for planing operations and for machining manganese steel.
P30:
Carbide tipped tools are suitable for heavy duty turning and boring on all classes of steel. Suitable also for interrupted cutting and machining at low speeds and heavy feeds.
K20:
General-purpose tools for most applications. Ideal for machining cast iron, non-ferrous metals, bakelite etc. Combines wear resistance with toughness when rough turning at moderate cutting speeds. Suitable for high feed rates.

Kennedy® High Performance Machine Taps

Made from a super grade high speed steel with extra vanadium content. This has a distinct advantage with taps, by increasing wear resisting properties and extending tool life significantly. These taps are intended for general application where consistent results and improved tool life are important. Threads can be produced in a range of steels, including stainless and cast steels as well as some long chip non-ferrous materials.

Machine Taps Spiral Point Metric Coarse HSS - EV

With straight flutes and short fluted helix at point. Ideal for tapping through holes as swarf is directed ahead of the tap. Flutes are narrower than those of taps required to pull swarf towards the shank and act as lubricant channels, giving greater tap rigidity. Manufactured to BS 949: Part 4: 1990 and ISO 529 : 1975. Tolerance 6H.
Bright finish: standard finish for tapping most materials including low silicon aluminiums, brass, mild steels (low volume) stainless, copper.
