Suitable for drilling steel, cast steel, alloyed and unalloyed, grey cast iron, spheroidal iron, sintered powder metal, German silver and graphite. Manufactured to BS328/DIN338RN.

Black Finish (W-Finish)
This is the most common surface finish and is the result of a steam tempering operation in which steam is passed over the product during a controlled tempering cycle, producing a black oxide layer. Black tools are generally recommended for ferrous applications where the oxide layer aids chip flow, helps to dissipate heat by retaining some coolant on the tool surface and also helps to prevent the tool from staining.

Walton 3 & 4 Flute Tap Extractors

Thoroughly remove all chips of the broken tap. insert the extractor fingers into the flutes of the broken tap, pushing them gently but firmly into position. Push the holder down until it touches the broken tap. slide the sleeve down until it touches the work. Apply a tap wrench to the square end of the holder. Twist forward and backward a few times to loosen, then back out the broken tap.

Since the AccuPort 432 Port Contour Cutter is the only indexable tool in the industry that can produce the drilled hole and the port form in one step, dimensions were changed to produce the most capable forms possible. By setting dimensions to the nominal values, the resulting port form will be well within acceptable tolerance requirements. Dimensions that were updated related primarily to the ID ridge diameter, pilot length, seal angle diameter, and spotface diameter.

Kennedy Holesaw Variable Pitch Bi-Metal HSS

Kennedy variable pitch bi-metal high speed holesaws feature a very aggressive cutting action, which gives a very smooth finish and substantial reductions in noise levels. Noise reduction is achieved by disrupting the harmonics produced when sawing certain materials and structures such as tubing and angle. An improvement in swarf clearance is also achieved.
