Aluminium Tig/Gas Welding Rods

Saffire aluminium 5% silicon & magnesium. BS 2901:Part 4 : 1990 4043A (Tig Rods). BS 1453:1972(1987) 4043A (Gas Rods) AWS A/SFA 5-10-88:ER 4043.



Suitable for welding a wide range of cast and wrought aluminium alloys containing up to 5% magnesium. Particularly suited to Tig welding (with argon shielding gas). Use with aluminium flux for oxy-acetylene welding.

MasterGage Weld Gauges

MasterGage permits quick and accurate measuring of the most popular weld fillet sizes in inch and metric. Excellent for checking alignment and inspection of various angles of welds. High quality stainless steel (SUS 304) blades to resist rust and for longer life. Blades are deburred for fine and smooth edges. All sizes and numerals are laser etched into the surface for clarity and easier reading. Comes in a handy vinyl pocket case with snap lock.

Portable Welding Smoke Eliminators

Fume Eliminator 840/841

FE 840/841 is the ideal solution for welding fume extraction where traditional evacuation is not possible. The units are very easy to bring along for service jobs in the field, as well as for welding inside containers or metal tubes where the constraint on the welder normally is high.
FE 840 has a manual on/off switch, the FE 841 has an automatic on/off function sensing when the welding begins. After the welding is completed, the unit keeps running for 5 - 25 seconds. This time delay can be
adjusted to suit the actual situation.
The FE 841 is also equipped with a 'full filter' indicator.

Gas & Tig Welding Rods

Copper coated triple deoxidised mild steel rod for Tig welding pipework etc. Particularly suited to Tig welding (with argon shielding gas) root runs in pipes. Can be used without flux for oxy-acetylene welding. Typical all-weld metal ultimate tensile strength 630N/mm2.

Saffire Regulators

With twin bulk head gauges clearly displaying cylinder pressure and flow rate. Comply with EN ISO 2503.
0-4 bar Oxygen (Blue) type is suitable for medium cutting and welding applications.
0-10 bar Oxygen (Blue) type is suitable for most applications including heavy cutting and heating.
A-1.5 Acetylene (Red) type is suitable for all cutting, heating and welding applications.
ArC-35L Argon type is suitable for inert gases eg for use with Mig or Tig welders.

Saffire XL5 Flashback Arrestors
