The red indicator in the tip will illuminate on detection of AC voltage simply by applying the tip close to any connection point, or moving it along any insulated cable. The PRO12 features a unique ?shielded? forktip for highly selective and accurate testing for presence of AC voltage in specific cables or wires. Ideal for professional, close proximity testing and installation work. Cables and connections can easily be checked in low voltage equipment too.
