Kennedy® High Performance Machine Taps

Made from a super grade high speed steel with extra vanadium content. This has a distinct advantage with taps, by increasing wear resisting properties and extending tool life significantly. These taps are intended for general application where consistent results and improved tool life are important. Threads can be produced in a range of steels, including stainless and cast steels as well as some long chip non-ferrous materials.

Machine Taps Spiral Flute Metric Coarse HSS - EV

With high helix (45°), right hand spiral flutes, designed to pull swarf towards the shank of the tap. Most suitable for blind-hole tapping. Manufactured to BS 949 : Part 4 : 1990 and ISO 529 : 1975. Tolerance 6H.
Oxidised finish (black): special heat treated finish gives resistance to rust and reduces metal to metal friction. Combined with a porous surface that gives optimum lubricant retention, work-generated heat is minimised, giving prolonged cutting edge life. Use on higher carbon steels cast materials high silicon aluminiums.

Duratec™ SFB - formerly known as Super Flex-Back

Made from carbon steel with a flexible back, Duratec™ SFB is ideal for economical cutting on easy-to-machine ferrous or non-ferrous metal and wood.

Guhring High Performance Unequal Helix End Mills Solid Carbide

Designed for general-purpose universal milling with a 35/38 unequal helix and Guhring's own unique Fire Coating for increased performance. Unique Fire Coating is applied in Guhring's own coating plants using the PVD process. All-around coating can achieve two to three times the performance of TiN, and considerably better than TiALN. Kennedy Holesaw Variable Pitch Bi-Metal HSS

Kennedy variable pitch bi-metal high speed holesaws feature a very aggressive cutting action, which gives a very smooth finish and substantial reductions in noise levels. Noise reduction is achieved by disrupting the harmonics produced when sawing certain materials and structures such as tubing and angle. An improvement in swarf clearance is also achieved.

Cutting depth: 28.5mm (1.1/8'').
