Murex Saffire MK4 Gas Economiser

The Murex MK4 Gas Economiser is a device that economises the use of gas used in welding operations up to a nozzle size of 25. During nonwelding periods the blowpipe can be hung safely on the hooked lever, which operates the gas shut-off valves in the economiser.

Saffire 36ec Flashback Arrestors

Conform to EN730. Sintered metal flame arresting element, non-return valve upstream of the flame arresting element, thermal and pressure sensitive cut-off. Reset button with 'pop-up' action indicating when a flashback has occurred.

Murex Process/Heating Nozzles and Adaptors

Fully compatible with most heavy duty welding shanks and blowpipes. For use with blowpipes* 1143, 1144; Saffire NM250; Citogas NMC200. Up to 766,000 Btu/h can be achieved from 5H when used on blowpipe with adaptor. *Use adaptor 120458.

Saffire Regulators

With twin bulk head gauges clearly displaying cylinder pressure and flow rate. Comply with EN ISO 2503.
0-4 bar Oxygen (Blue) type is suitable for medium cutting and welding applications.
0-10 bar Oxygen (Blue) type is suitable for most applications including heavy cutting and heating.
A-1.5 Acetylene (Red) type is suitable for all cutting, heating and welding applications.
ArC-35L Argon type is suitable for inert gases eg for use with Mig or Tig welders.

Series 1 Single Stage

Saffire XL5 Flashback Arrestors

Give a high flow rate and are equipped with a large cylindrical flame arresting element, an automotive reset non-return valve and a heat sensitive automatic cut-off. Should be used in conjunction with hose check valves.

Saffire NM250 Cutting Blowpipe

For general workshop cutting up to 250mm (10?). For use with ANM/PNM nozzles below. Nozzle mixing and backfire resistant, 90 head with improved control knobs for positive flame setting.

75mm long acetylene nozzle mix can be used with the majority of popular cutting torches including Saffire 5, 4 & 3, NM250, 400 & 500. Plate thickness refers to mild steel. ASNM: For cutting sheet metal.
