Armoured coils protect the motor against sharp grinding dust to ensure a long lifetime. Double-sealed ball bearings, and the especially sturdy gearing guarantee a long lifetime. To protect you - restart protection prevents the tool from automatically restarting after a power cut and the soft-start function ensures no damage is done to the work-piece and protects you from initial high power surge. In the event of a broken grinding disc, the broken-disc-proof guard has sufficient mechanical strength to prevent the shards from being ejected towards the user. This means the guard rotates less than 90.
